SHG warning and protective bumper guards act as a personal crumple zone for people, machines and fixtures, absorb hard impacts and thus prevent injury or damage.

The highly effective warning capability of the black and yellow markings highlights sources of danger at edges, gaps and obstacles making them easy to recognize and thus reducing accidents, giving benefits of reduced staff absences or downtimes due to repairs.  

The secret is in the design of the profile body: In the middle of the profile is a core made of polyurethane foam. This is sheathed in polyurethane foil, which is fixed in place by foaming during production.

Another key feature is in the application of the colours. By using so-called reverse printing on the inward-facing side of the foil, the foil itself protects the paint so that the warning colours remain in place even if heavy abrasion takes place. 

SHG bumper guard resistant to temperatures from -40degC to +100degC, resistant to damp, and are tested in accordance with fire safety standard DIN 4102 B2 and comply with RoHS (EC Directive 2002/95/EC). They are also within the applicable PAH limits (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons).

The special, patented, manufacturing technique makes the warning and protective bumper particularly flexible so that it absorbs forces of impact and also allow easy placement to curved surfaces. Due to its high resistant protective film, your bumper will not lose its colors even under rough conditions. The specificity is the design of the profile. The core of the profile is a polyurethane foam which is sheathed by a polyurethane film, fixed in place by foaming during the manufacturing process. By using a reverse printing on the backside of the film, the colors are protected and mostly Indestructible. A light- and ageing-resistant, high-performance adhesive is applied to the inside or the back of the profiles.
